The ACTIVATE project is driven by a transnational partnership of three dedicated European organizations. Together, we combine our expertise in adult education, sustainability, and digitalization to empower artisans, craftspeople, artists, and small businesses across Europe. By learning together, we are creating innovative methods to guide the transition toward a greener and more digital future.

ARTES (Italy) – Project Coordinator

Role & Expertise: As the project coordinator, ARTES leads the management and structural implementation of the project. ARTES brings a profound understanding of the specific needs, work culture, and challenges faced by local artisans and self-employed workers.
Vision for ACTIVATE: ARTES is dedicated to finding practical avenues to help its members leverage the green and digital transitions, transforming systemic societal changes into distinct competitive advantages.

SEN – Socialinis Efektas, asociacija (Lithuania)

Role & Expertise: SEN (Social Effect Network) contributes extensive expertise in promoting sustainability, social innovation, diversity, and entrepreneurship. SEN has a strong track record of working with remote local communities where access to targeted professional development is often limited.
Vision for ACTIVATE: SEN leads the sustainability frameworks of the project, focusing on integrating the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and ESG frameworks into practical tools that help artisans reduce their carbon footprints and align with the European Green Deal.

NIKANOR (Bulgaria)

Role & Expertise: NIKANOR is an expert in adult education, human resource optimization, and vocational training digitalization. They specialize in adapting adult learners to rapidly evolving professional environments and industries.
Vision for ACTIVATE: Within the consortium, NIKANOR ensures that all digital tools and micro-learning content adhere strictly to accessibility and inclusion rules. They focus on turning complex digital skills—like automated billing, accounting, and online marketing—into clear, simple, and jargon-free solutions for non-tech-savvy workers.
